Navid and Wen, founders of Artist Alley Shop, are two artists originally coming from the animation and video game industry. Their journey as independent artists selling their creations in conventions started as a side hustle, and quickly grew to be their main activity over years of experience.

Along the way, they recognized the challenges many artists face: the rise of AI-generated content, the limited number of Canadian conventions, and the scarcity of venues for artists to showcase and sell their work. Wanting to create more opportunities for independent artists and build a space where creativity can be valued and turned into a stable income, they founded Artist Alley Shop.

Artist Alley Shop prides itself on having an amazing team, and what makes it special is that every member is also an artist! We keep things flexible, allowing everyone to bring their unique strengths to the table and be as creative as they can.

• Vivian & Ana – Store Managers
  The driving force behind a smooth and fun shopping experience, Vivian and Ana handle everything from organizing events to social media content—all while keeping the space running seamlessly and making sure artists feel at home.

• Cris – Team Manager & Illustrator
  A talented artist and key part of the team, Cris contributes amazing artwork while helping coordinate operations, ensuring both the shop and our creative projects stay on track.

• Ludwig – Staff Member
  Always ready to lend a hand, Ludwig supports both the team and our artists, making sure every event, interaction, and day-to-day task runs smoothly.

We put our hearts into our work, but we also keep things fun and dynamic, always finding new ways to evolve and innovate!
